Our platform launched as a proof of concept in Malta and has evolved into a vibrant disruptor in the global ride-hailing space. Having developed a world-class ride-hailing platform and deploying it in Malta, Athens and Bucharest, eCabs Technologies is now at the exciting stage to expand its presence across a number of European cities. Our aspiration is to fly the Maltese tech flag in European streets through the adoption of our innovative platform. We are now seeking to engage a Chief Technology Officer who will lead our technological innovation efforts.

Who You Are

As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be the architect of our technology strategy, responsible for driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions that will propel eCabs Technologies to the forefront of the global ride-hailing landscape.

What you’ll do:

• Define and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for eCabs Technologies, aligning it with overall business objectives and global expansion plans.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of eCabs Technologies proprietary software platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and adherence to industry standards.
• Lead a team of talented engineers and software developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of technology into overall business strategy.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the ride-hailing industry, identifying opportunities to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into our platform to enhance platform performance, security, and user experience.
• Oversee the entire technology stack, including mobile apps, backend infrastructure, cloud architecture, and data systems.
• Manage and optimize the technology infrastructure, ensuring efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy and security regulations across global markets.
• Represent eCabs Technologies as a thought leader in the technology industry, participating in industry events and conferences.

What you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of technologists, with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality products.
• Deep understanding of cloud-based technologies.
• Expertise in programming languages and technologies relevant to the ride-hailing industry.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Passion for the ride-hailing industry and a desire to make a positive impact on the future of transportation highly desired.
