Job description
In tandem with the Head of HR, you will be responsible for administrating the day-to-day schedule of the company. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, obtaining employees’ availability, creating and preparing weekly schedules, communicating schedules to employees and relevant departments, filling open shifts and placing/taking after-hours calls related to scheduling.
What you’ll do:
- Manage employees’ working schedules.
- Scheduling and system utilisation.
- Regular performance measurement reporting.
- Ensure that the flow of information between internal departments and employees is accurate and timely.
- Complete ad hoc projects and other operational activities as assigned.
- Main user and administrator for eCabs HR systems.
- Collaborate on and follow company policies, practices, and procedures to maintain internal controls.
- Ensure that tasks, assignments, and other assigned duties are kept confidential.
Job requirements
What you’ll bring:
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar position.
- Ability to build positive relationships with employees.
- Able to prioritise multiple tasks effectively, and flexibility with work schedule to accommodate last minute requests.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical abilities, and able to multitask.
- Excellent organisational skills, adaptable to constant changes, and possessing attention to detail.
- A positive, resilient, and focused attitude.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsBe self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills – outgoing, confident, and able to engage positively with co-workers, and work well in a team environment.
- Experience in the preparation of weekly rosters and scheduling would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills.
- Previous transport-related experience is preferable but not essential.
